As an elite fitness trainer I consider myself to be at the top. My goal is to guide and train you to be the best “YOU”— you can be. I don’t believe in steroids or illegal substances. They’re quick and easy solutions with devastating results: stroke, heart attack and severe acne to name a few. What I do believe in is mental preparation and hard work.
I come from a very athletic family and always refused to settle for average. I have always pushed myself to perform at the best of my ability in my workouts and through nutrition. I’ve dedicated my life to learning how the body works and mastering the “mental aspect” of fitness.
I don’t give clients a workout to do and that’s it because they fall back into bad habits all too easily. Instead, I create a “healthy lifestyle” and it starts in the mind. Amazingly, people skip the first and most important ingredient to getting in shape—the mental preparation that it takes to get started.
7 Days In A Week…
24 Hours In A Day…
Pick Three Hours A Week
Pick three hours a week to dedicate to your body. I suggest Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Forget: I work long days, have kids, have to travel, etc. I call these “crutches.” All it takes is reorganizing to make it happen. Your body is the most important thing you have. If it breaks down, your job, family and your health suffers. Reprogram by engraving a new “must-do” in your brain. Our “to do’s” include shower, brush our teeth, eat, go to work. Now insert “GO TO THE GYM.” Do it until it becomes a habit. This moment, commit to building a new you.
So you’ve been out of shape
for 5 or 6 years…
Weight loss, muscle gain, definition, toning, boost of energy, self-confidence; why get frustrated or give up when you don’t see results in one or two weeks? You’ve been out of shape for years!
1. Think about, visualize, and write down your goals and any results that you see.
2. What inspires you; songs, pictures? When you’re not “feeling” the gym . . . listen to that music, photo, envision your goal, focus, get inspired and do it. 3. No matter how silly it seems, talk to yourself on the step-by-step changes you are going to mentally and physically make. This is a strong tool and it works.
4. Just DO IT!!! No options, no excuses, don’t think about it—just go!
