Patricia Bragg on The Lifestyle That Keeps You Ageless
by Michael P. Naughton
To speak with Patricia Bragg, N.D., Ph.D, is to be educated and enlightened on the history and origins of good health and nutrition. Her endorsements speak volumes: Jack LaLanne (who was a Bragg follower since 15 years old and lived to be 96), Gloria Swanson (84), Jane Russell (89) Coach Phil Jackson, Chicken Soup for the Soul author Mark Victor Hansen, Cloris Leachman, The Beach Boys (who keep Bragg books in their suitcases when they travel), Reverend Billy Graham and most recently Katy Perry. The list goes on and on. Patricia is the daughter of Paul C. Bragg, N.D., Ph.D who was the originator of Health Stores and spreading health since 1912. She is positive force of energy, a beautiful and genuine person, and The Beverly Hills Times is pleased to have her featured for the first time in our magazine. When I asked Patricia about Katy Perry she said, “I bought Katy her first guitar at age 12, and got her into her first big singing engagementat LA Stadium at half-time singing God Bless America at age 13; and now she is singing all around the world.” Katy also happens to be a big fan of Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (check out the book: Apple Cider Vinegar Miracle Health System). I personally recommend that you start with the Bragg Healthy Lifestyle book. You will learn about the harmful effects of processed foods, the proper way to fast and many time-tested health and nutritional tips that return to the basic fundamentals. For example, a simple principle such as breathing—whichPatricia says, “Oxygen is the invisible staff of life and that most Americans are shallow breathers.” Her book Super Power Breathing is an extensive aid, based on simple, natural laws, that can help calm, rejuvenate and energize you. Patricia will also teach you how to overcome the negative effects of bad breathing. Her book on Healthy Heart is a potential life saver which is well researched and espoused by Dr. JohnWesterdahl, PhD, MPH, RD, CNS, the newDirector of the Bragg Health Institute. Hotel magnate Conrad Hilton once said in People magazine, “I wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for the Braggs and their Bragg Healthy Lifestyle.” (He lived to be 92) I read there were a reported 70,000-pluscentenarians living in the U.S. today and their numbers are expected to grow to morethan 800,000 by the year 2050. It’s entirely possible… and the Bragg Healthy Lifestylemay provide the keys or clues to longevity. In the final analysis, you ultimately decide which road to take when it comes to a healthy lifestyle, me personally, I have earned my“Bragging rites” and love Patricia’s messageand her books. Bragg books are gifts for life!
